Dan Cole happy with "massive" Leicester Tigers win

Leicester Tigers prop Dan Cole targets Aviva Premiership success after reaching the playoffs.

Leicester Tigers prop Dan Cole has hailed his side after they reached the Aviva Premiership playoffs with a win over Northampton Saints.

Jordan Crane and Tom Stephenson scored the tries as the Tigers won 22-14 to guarantee a third-place finish, and Cole has admited that it has been tough campaign.

He told BT Sport: "It's massive. It's why we play the game, we've got a great history of reaching the playoffs.

"This year it's been a bit sticky in parts but we've come through. It's taken until the last day of the season but we're in it and that's what matters."

Leicester will play Bath in their semi-final.
