Toby Flood expects tough Treviso clash

Leicester Tigers fly-half Toby Flood expects Treviso to provide a tough test for his side when they meet in the Heineken Cup on Friday.

Leicester Tigers fly-half Toby Flood has revealed that he expects a tough contest when his side host Treviso in the Heineken Cup on Friday.

The Tigers got their campaign off to a losing start last weekend as they went down 22-16 to Ulster in Pool 5.

Meanwhile, Italian outfit Treviso were comfortably beaten 27-10 by Montpellier.

"We have the opportunity to break Treviso this weekend and sit somewhere in the pool that allows us to move forward," Flood told Sky Sports News.

"They are a dogged side, a side that are hard to beat. You only have to look at the fact they beat Munster, they pushed Ospreys fairly close to know they are a real team to worry about.

"We'll probably go out there with the mind set of winning the game first and obviously if things arrive and we have the opportunity to then take those points we will do."

Leicester were dealt an injury blow on Tuesday when it emerged that centre Anthony Allen will be sidelined for three months with a leg problem.
