Richard Cockerill praises "outstanding" Leicester Tigers

Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill has praised his side's "outstanding" performance as they beat Ospreys 39-22 on Sunday in the Heineken Cup.

Two tries from Manu Tuilagi at Welford Road helped the Tigers record their first win of this season's competition following last weekend's defeat at Toulouse.

"It was the result we needed," Cockerill told Sky Sports News. "The attitude of the players was outstanding. They wanted to play and work as hard as they could to get the result."

The win has elevated Leicester up to third in Pool 2.
