Gloucester's Luke Narraway is called into the England Six Nations squad as a replacement for the injured Tom Wood.

England have called Luke Narraway into their Six Nations squad as a replacement for Tom Wood.

Interim coach Stuart Lancaster has chosen Narraway as the man who will fill the void created by the foot injury to Wood.

Narraway has earned his selection after a string of impressive performances for Gloucester recently.

Lancaster has once again chosen to ignore Nick Easter, giving Narraway the opportunity to win his first England cap.

The 28-year-old will now compete with Ben Morgan for the vacant No8 position ahead of the tournament opener against Scotland.
