Lewis Moody: 'England need to rattle Ireland's Jonathan Sexton'

Lewis Moody believes that 'rattling' Jonathan Sexton will help England to beat rivals Ireland in the Six Nations.

Lewis Moody has claimed that England must look to "rattle" Jonathan Sexton if they want to beat Ireland in the Six Nations this weekend.

The fly-half returned from injury for his side's win over France last time out, scoring 15 points with the boot to guide the holders to an 18-11 victory.

Moody believes that stifling Sexton at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday will boost England's chances of beating the Irish and winning the competition.

"Jonathan Sexton leads the way really, along with Paul O'Connell. Sexton's the lynchpin, though. If you can get into him he can be quite temperamental. If we can rattle him early on then that will obviously help England," the World Cup winner told Sports Mole.

"There are other players, the ball carriers like Sean O'Brien. Their back-row has been dented by the loss of Jamie Heaslip, but they can still bring other guys in like Peter O'Mahony. They have a very physical pack, but England need to get after Sexton because he orchestrates everything."

England have made two changes to their side ahead of the game, with Alex Goode and Jack Nowell coming in for Mike Brown and Jonny May.
