Lancaster wants "step up" for Ireland

England coach Stuart Lancaster believes that England will need to "step up" if they are to beat Ireland in Dublin next month.

Lancaster's team made it two wins from two in this year's Six Nations by beating Italy 47-17 at Twickenham this afternoon.

However, with the prospect of facing the defending champions on the horizon, Lancaster has admitted that England will need to improve to win in Dublin.

He is quoted by The Sport Review: "We have obviously made progress, but we know that in order to beat Ireland in Ireland, we are going to need to step up again.

"But two [wins] from two, we'll take that at the moment."

If England can beat Ireland, they then face Scotland before a possible Grand Slam decider against France in their final game.
