Stuart Lancaster aims to "build consistency" with unchanged England side

Stuart Lancaster says that he is hoping to "build consistency" after naming an unchanged England side to face Italy in their Six Nations encounter.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster is hoping to "build consistency" after he picked an unchanged team to face Italy in Saturday's Six Nations at Twickenham.

The same 23-man party that secured a comeback 21-16 victory over Wales in last weekend's opener will line up at the home of English rugby on Saturday.

"It's always good to be able to name an unchanged team and to build some consistency," Lancaster told englandrugby.com. "We did the same last year after France heading into the Scotland game.

"Italy are going to be fired up. They always are when they come to Twickenham, especially after last week's loss to Ireland. We know what's coming at us but we have prepared well and are looking forward to getting back home to our fantastic supporters."

Meanwhile, Italy have made six changes to their side for this weekend's clash.
