Jonathan Joseph backs George Ford to recover from Ireland setback

Jonathan Joseph is certain that England fly-half George Ford will recover after struggling in the Six Nations loss to Ireland.

Jonathan Joseph has insisted that England fly-half George Ford will return to his best form following his struggles in last weekend's Six Nations defeat to Ireland.

Ford suffered against an impressive performance from opposite number Jonathan Sexton in Dublin, but Joseph believes that the 21-year-old will recover after losing for the first time in his fifth start for England.

"George will definitely learn and be better next time - he's done that his whole career," Ford's Bath and England teammate is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"He always bounces back and will put in another great performance when the next game comes around.

"That's the type of character he is."

England continue their campaign against Scotland at Twickenham next Saturday.
