Alex Goode to replace injured Mike Brown for England against Ireland

England coach Stuart Lancaster confirms that Alex Goode will replace the injured Mike Brown at full-back against Ireland in the Six Nations.

England coach Stuart Lancaster has confirmed that Alex Goode will replace the injured Mike Brown at full-back for Saturday's clash with Ireland in the Six Nations.

Brown was ruled out of the crucial game in Dublin earlier today after failing to recover from concussion.

Goode, who plays his club rugby for Saracens, has made 16 appearances for the national team.

"We are, of course, disappointed to lose Mike but Alex is an experienced international and in great form for Saracens," Lancaster is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

England are expected to name their full team for the game against Ireland on Friday.
