Toby Flood has been recalled to the England squad after recovering from a knee injury.
The fly-half missed Saturday's Six Nations win over Scotland but could make a start when England travel to Italy this weekend.
Charlie Hodgson took the number 10 shirt on Saturday and scored a try in the opening minutes of the second half.
Hodgson left the field later in the half with a shoulder problem.
