Toby Flood is dropped from the England squad to play France on Sunday.

Toby Flood has been dropped from the England squad for their Six Nations clash with France on Sunday.

Flood's release is due to the return to fitness of Charlie Hodgson, who will be named in the squad to travel to Paris.

Young Saracens fly half Owen Farrell is expected to retain his place at number 10 after starting in England's opening two wins over Scotland and Italy.

Flood, who came off the bench during England's defeat to Wales a fortnight ago, will be available for club side Leicester's LV Cup semi-final fixture against Bath on Saturday.
