Farrell: 'England can cope without Tuilagi'

England fly-half Owen Farrell has insisted that the team can cope without Manu Tuilagi if the centre is ruled out of the Six Nations.

The 22-year-old has emerged as an injury doubt for next year's tournament after undergoing surgery on a torn pectoral muscle.

Despite Tuilagi's possible absence, Farrell is convinced that there is enough talent in the England squad to manage without him.

"If he is out for the Six Nations he's obviously a big player for us and we'll be gutted for him, but there are a lot of good players in this squad," he told BBC Sport. "We wish him the best of recoveries."

England play their final Autumn International on Saturday when they face world champions New Zealand at Twickenham Stadium.
