Report: Jonathan Joseph to return against Australia

Jonathan Joseph will return for England against Australia in Saturday's crucial World Cup game at Twickenham.

Jonathan Joseph has reportedly proved his fitness to the England coaches ahead of their crucial Pool A clash with Australia on Saturday.

England were without the centre last week and Stuart Lancaster handed his spot to Sam Burgess as the hosts slipped to a damaging 28-25 loss to Wales.

However, Joseph is ready to return as they look to keep their World Cup dream alive, according to Sky Sports News.

The report suggests that his recovery from a pectoral injury will see him start at Twickenham on Saturday and the move is likely to allow Brad Barritt to return to inside-centre.

As a result, Burgess is expected to drop down to the bench.
