England flanker Tom Wood has admitted that he is still coming to terms with the team's 38-21 victory over New Zealand last weekend.

England ended the All Blacks' 20-match unbeaten run with the victory at Twickenham and Wood has revealed that the home success has not yet "sunk in".

"It's difficult to put it into words, I don't think we quite understand what we have achieved yet, it hasn't quite dawned on us and sunk in," Wood told Sky Sports News.

"It was just great for that group of lads to win and end on a high the last day of the series, and get that endorsement that everything we have been doing this series is going in the right direction and that we can keep going that way going into the Six Nations."

Wood was named as man of the match in the autumn Test match.
