Sheridan returns for Ireland clash

England's Andrew Sheridan is fit to face Ireland on Saturday after recovering from shoulder surgery.

The 31-year-old prop had previously missed England's first two World Cup warm-up matches against Wales and Ireland.

Sheridan was named in Martin Johnson's 30-man squad on Monday for the New Zealand tournament.

England's first World Cup fixture is against Argentina on Saturday, September 10.
