Chris Robshaw concerned by impact of loss to Australia

Chris Robshaw admits that a loss to Australia would have a big impact on morale in the England squad ahead of next year's World Cup.

England captain Chris Robshaw has admitted that losing to Australia at Twickenham on Saturday could have a big impact on the team's preparations for next year's World Cup.

Stuart Lancaster's side have already lost to New Zealand and South Africa in November, and Robshaw believes that another defeat would be damaging to the side's morale.

"Saturday's game is huge for us," the 28-year-old told reporters. "It's about giving the guys the confidence that we can beat these teams. If we lose, we will probably view this as a poor autumn campaign.

"To lose three games out of four at Twickenham, all to Southern Hemisphere teams, would be tough to take for all the guys."

England ended a run of five successive defeats by beating Samoa 28-9 on Saturday.
