Manu Tuilagi included in England squad for tour of Australia

England head coach Eddie Jones names injury doubts Manu Tuilagi and Owen Farrell in his 32-man squad for the three-Test tour of Australia.

Manu Tuilagi has been included in England's squad for their summer tour of Australia despite concerns over an injury sustained during Leicester Tigers' Premiership semi-final against Saracens.

The 25-year-old picked up a hamstring problem during his side's 44-17 defeat at Allianz Park which threatened to rule him out of the tour, with initial reports suggesting that the centre could be out for up to six weeks.

Fly-half Owen Farrell, who sustained a rib injury in the same match, has also been included in Eddie Jones's 32-man squad for the three-Test series.

Farrell's club teammate Chris Ashton is not picked despite scoring two tries in the Premiership semi-final, however, while Dylan Hartley will continue as captain for the tour.

Jones has also included four uncapped players, with Worcester Warriors centre Ben Te'o, Bristol Rugby prop Ellis Genge, Harlequins prop Kyle Sinckler and Northampton Saints back-row Teimana Harrison all receiving call-ups.

"We are still a young squad with an average age of 24 so this will be a big learning experience," Jones told reporters.

"This will be the first time many of the players will have toured Australia so there's no historical baggage there and mentally we'll be in a good place off the back of the Six Nations."

England will play the first of their three Tests on June 11.
