England assistant coach Andy Farrell believes that the recent Test series in South Africa will provide great experience to his players ahead of the 2015 World Cup.
England are looking to retain their fourth-placed world ranking by the end of a tough autumn schedule to ensure they remain top seeds for the home World Cup.
Farrell believes that the improvement of his side to manage a 14-14 draw in the final game with South Africa could prove "invaluable".
He said: "That type of experience is invaluable. To fight on all fronts in all three games and to come away with a draw at the end is no mean feat at all. It is a valuable experience this side has for the future."
Farrell recently signed a long-term deal to be part of the England backroom staff.
