British and Irish Lions quiet on fears George North could miss first Test

Lions quiet on North injury fears

The British and Irish Lions have reportedly refused to comment on speculation that George North could miss the first Test against Australia.

The 21-year-old has been rested for Saturday's clash against the Waratahs due to a knock he picked up during the Lions' 64-0 victory over Combined Country.

It has been suggested that the hamstring injury suffered could force North out of the first Test on June 22, but the Lions camp have declined to comment, according to BBC Sport.

The Lions currently have a 100% record in their tour in Australia.
