Gethin Jenkins ruled out of Lions tour

Gethin Jenkins has been ruled out of the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia with a calf injury.

The prop had already been ruled out of today's game with the Queensland Reds with the problem, but it has now been revealed that he will not feature in the remainder of the tour.

The 32-year-old, who plays for the Cardiff Blues, will be replaced in the squad by Ryan Grant.

The Welsh international is the second player to withdraw from the squad in less than 24 hours, with Cian Healy pulling out on Friday with an ankle injury.
