Cian Healy to return home from British and Irish Lions tour

Healy to miss rest of Lions tour

The British and Irish Lions will be without Cian Healy for the remainder of the tour in Australia due to an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old suffered extensive ligament damage during the Lions' 69-17 victory over Western Force on Wednesday.

The news comes after Healy was cleared of allegedly biting Western Force player Brett Sheehan during the match due to insufficient evidence.

Meanwhile, Scotland prop Ryan Grant has been called into the squad as cover for Gethin Jenkins, who will miss the Lions' Test against the Queensland Reds with a calf problem.
