Tries from Tom Biggs, George Ford, Anthony Perenise, Jonathan Joseph, Dominic Day, Semesa Rokoduguni and Kyle Eastmond, were topped off by Ford kicking six conversions for the home side as Matt Banahan added a late one of his own.

Emmanuel Saubusse kicked two conversions for the French side, but they were second best throughout as Bath ran riot.

Gilen Queheille added a late conversion for Bordeux before Pierre Bernard chalked up another.

In Pool 3 earlier this evening, Newcastle Falcons cruised to a 28-0 win against Bucharest Wolves.
