Peter Stringer signs on at Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby scrum-half Peter Stringer has agreed a new one-year contact with the Aviva Premiership outfit.

The former Ireland international, who initially joined on a short-term deal, has impressed during his spell with the club.

Stringer told the club's website: "I still feel like I have a lot to give on the rugby field, and really wanted to keep on playing, so was happy to agree a new contract here.

"I've really enjoyed my time with Bath so far, and am looking forward to next season already.

The 35-year-old has previously played for Saracens and Newcastle Falcons.
