Stuart Hooper signs Bath extension

Bath captain Stuart Hooper pens a one-year contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

Bath captain Stuart Hooper has signed a new one-year contract with the Aviva Premiership club.

The 32-year-old lock arrived at the Recreation Ground from Leeds Carnegie in 2008.

"This was not a tough call for me," Hooper told the club's official website.

"I love leading this squad and am proud to do so, so signing on again was a great moment. Bath is a very exciting place to be, and playing my part in helping this great club grow is a genuine honour."

Bath continue their league campaign on Saturday when they travel to Exeter Chiefs.
