Gavin Henson signs Bath contract extension

Former Welsh international Gavin Henson signs a one-year contract extension at Bath amid reported interest from elsewhere.

Gavin Henson has signed a one-year extension to his contract with Aviva Premiership side Bath Rugby.

The former Welsh international, who has scored one try in 20 appearances this season, had been linked with a move to Newport Gwent Dragons.

"I'm very happy to be staying," Henson is quoted as saying by Planet Rugby. "This is a top club and I feel excited about what this group of players can achieve. It is great to be part of it and I feel proud at the thought of playing more rugby for Bath."

The 32-year-old joined the club last summer from London Welsh.
