Brad Davis disappointed with Bath defeat

Bath skills coach Brad Davis admits his disappointment after Friday's defeat to Northampton ends their 100% start to the season.

Bath skills coach Brad Davis has admitted his disappointment after Friday's 18-14 defeat to Northampton Saints at the Rec.

Despite the best efforts of the hosts, their 100% start to the season was ended by the boot of Saints' Stephen Myler.

"Our overriding feeling is one of massive disappointment," said Davis. "It was a match of two halves as far as our kicking game was concerned.

"To be brutally honest, Northampton deserved to win the match."

The loss means that Bath stay fifth in the Aviva Premiership table.
