Bath seal Luke Arscott move

Bath confirm the signing of full-back Luke Arscott from Exeter Chiefs on a two-year deal.

Bath have signed full-back Luke Arscott from Exeter Chiefs on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old, who had been linked with a return to former club Bristol Rugby, departs Exeter following four seasons at Sandy Park.

Arscott was recently given permission to leave the Chiefs, despite having one year remaining on his contract.

"I'm very excited by the opportunity to join Bath, and I'm looking forward to linking up with the squad for pre-season," he told the club's official website.

"You can see how much they have developed this year, and the potential that is still there, so it will be great to be part of that going forward into the new season."

Arscott scored 11 tries in 98 appearances for Exeter during his time at the club.
