Bath have completed the signing of prop Grant Shiells from Newcastle Falcons.
The 24-year-old leaves Newcastle following a five-year spell at Kingston Park.
"Bath have got a great coaching team and are clearly building towards the future," Shiells told the club's official website.
"There are some very talented players in the squad, and I'm looking forward to getting involved and developing myself as a player."
Shiells made 50 appearances for Newcastle during his time at the club.
