Australia hold on to beat Argentina

Australia have survived a second-half Argentina fightback to claim a 14-13 victory in the 2013 Rugby Championship.

The away side took the lead after seven minutes through a Nicolas Sanchez penalty but Christian Lealiifano soon kicked over twice to give the Wallabies the lead.

Israel Folau's try extended Australia's lead but Lealiifano missed from the conversion.

The home side were awarded a penalty at the end of the half and Lealiifano made no mistake to give his side a 14-3 lead.

On the hour mark Nicolas Sanchez kicked his second penalty for the Pumas, and within five minutes they pulled to within a point of the Wallabies.

Juan Manuel Leguizamon's try and Juan Martin Hernandez's conversion made it 14-13 but the home side held on for their first win of the Championship.
