Widnes Vikings forward Hep Cahill accepts two-match ban

Widnes Vikings forward Hep Cahill will miss his side's closing games of the season after accepting a two-match ban.

Widnes Vikings forward Hep Cahill will miss his side's final games of the season after accepting a two-match ban by the Rugby Football League.

Cahill was sent off during his side's victory over Warrington last week for a high tackle on full-back Brett Hodgson.

Cahill submitted an early guilty plea to the governing body, resulting in his suspension from the Vikings' matches against Hull KR and Salford, according to BBC Sport.

The RFL judged Cahill's offence as a Grade C reckless tackle.
