Welsh rugby player Gareth Thomas has entered the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The 37-year-old is notable for his announcement in 2009 that he is gay.

Thomas joined Rugby League side Crusaders in 2010 before his retirement in October 2010.

The centre had previously enjoyed a 15-year career in rugby union.

Thomas also made 100 appearances for Wales before his international retirement in 2007.
