Scotland and Italy have played out an entertaining 30-30 draw in their Rugby League World Cup match.

Cameron Ciraldo scored Italy's first try of the contest and Joshua Mantellato converted to bring them back into the game.

They closed the gap to within two points thanks to a try from Raymond Nasso with Mantellato converting.

Danny Addy went over to extend the Scot's lead going into half time, with Brough kicking over.

After the break, Nasso went over and Mantellato converted, before Brett Hellewell scored Scotland's fourth try of the game and Brough kicked over.

The Italians then took the lead Chris Centrone and Anthony Minichiello scored tries with Mantellato converting on each occasion.

With 10 minutes to go, Scotland levelled the scores with their fifth try of the match through Hellewell, but Brough was unable to convert and the game finished in a draw.
