Wigan's Stuart Fielden out for the season

Wigan prop Stuart Fielden has been ruled out for the rest of the season after tearing his pectoral muscle in training.

The 31-year-old had been previously sidelined for four months with a knee injury.

Coach Michael Maguire said: "Stu was looking really good. He was probably the fittest and strongest he has been.

"Being the professional he is, he is always training at his best all the time, but unfortunately he just pushed himself a little too hard yesterday and tore his pec.

"Unfortunately it is going to put him out for the rest of the season."
