The Rugby Football League have fined Doncaster player Shaun Leaf £500 and dished out an 18-month ban for betting offences.
The centre, 22, was found guilty of betting against his own team in games against Toulouse and Wakefield.
Leaf was found not guilty of providing privileged information to a third party to assist in betting activity, seeking to influence improperly the result and engaging in a conduct that was corrupt or fraudulent.
The ban will commence from the date that the player’s provisional suspension began in May 2011.
