Former South Wales Scorpions centre Tom Morgan banned for racial abuse

The Rugby Football League ban former South Wales Scorpions player Tom Morgan for six games after being found guilty of racial abuse.

Former South Wales Scorpions centre Tom Morgan has been hit with a six-match suspension after being found guilty of racially abusing an opponent.

The 23-year-old has been found guilty by the Rugby Football League of "using offensive or obscene language based on race or ethnic origin" when speaking to London Skolars forward Lamont Bryan earlier this year.

The incident, which occurred during a Championship 1 match last season, prompted the RFL to contact Morgan, who failed to respond and was not present at the tribunal.

Morgan was released from the Scorpions due to a "breach of club discipline" in July.
