Jon Wilkin signs new St Helens deal

England international Jon Wilkin has signed a new four-year contract with Super League side St Helens.

The 28-year-old joined the Saints a decade ago and has gone on to make 231 appearances for the club.

"It's fantastic to pledge myself to St Helens for the next four seasons," he said.

"I've had an amazing ten years with them to date and am really looking forward to more success with them.

"We are all excited about the new season ahead at our new home, Langtree Park, and there is a real sense of expectation in the squad."

Wilkin has scored 74 tries during his time with the Merseyside outfit.
