Jon Clarke ready for the "next chapter" of his career as he prepares to leave Warrington for Widnes at the end of the season.

Jon Clarke has signed a two-year deal with Widnes after a long-term stint with Warrington.

The 32-year-old, who will complete the move at the end of the season, believes that he is ready for the “next chapter” in his career.

"I've had 10 fantastic years at Warrington but the time has now come for the next chapter," BBC Sport quotes Clarke as saying.

"Despite being in Super League before, this time it feels like an entirely new venture - and in many ways it's a blank canvas for both the club and myself.

"I'll be doing my utmost to make sure that I can go out on a high and finish my time [at Warrington] on the right note.”

Clarke has racked up a try tally of 62 for the Wolves as well as 260 appearances.
