Hull Kingston Rovers complete the signing of George Griffin

Hull Kingston Rovers have announced the signing of back-row forward George Griffin from Queanbeyan Kangaroos.

The 19-year-old has signed a two-year contract and will make the move to Humberside for the start of the 2012 season.

"Hull have come in with a great offer," Griffin told the Canberra Times.

"I'm just going to take it while I can and then after the two years I'll have another look, see what happens and see if I can get back out here."

Griffin was close to joining Crusaders until they were forced to withdraw from the Super League in July.
