Harlequins will now be known as the London Broncos for the 2012 Super League season.

Harlequins will revert back to their previous name of London Broncos for the start of the 2012 Super League season.

The club has been known as Quins for the previous six years.

The return to the Broncos brand will also see a change in strip. The home kit will be black, while the away outfit will be blue with a black trim.

"It is a name that resonates with success on the pitch, which is what we want next season," said club chairman David Hughes.

"I've committed to the club for the next three years during this Super League licence period. We'll work hard to retain it in three years' time."

Hughes also confirmed that the club will continue to play at The Stoop for the time being.
