Danny Washbrook has joined Wakefield Wildcats after recently leaving Hull.

Wakefield Wildcats have completed the signing of back-rower Danny Washbrook.

The 26-year-old, who has only been available for a short period of time following his departure from Hull, has linked up with former boss Richard Agar. The pair previously worked together at the KC Stadium.

"At this stage in my career, I felt the time was right for a change and a new challenge to kick me into gear," Washbrook told the club's official website.

"I had a number of opportunities that presented themselves, but I am delighted to be joining a club like Wakefield and continuing to work with Richard."

Washbrook made 115 appearances during a six-year spell with the Black and Whites.
