Mathias Pala has joined Leigh Centurions from Catalans Dragons with immediate effect.
The French centre, 25, has penned a contract until 2016 with the Championship outfit in an attempt to experience more first-team action.
"I'm really happy to have this opportunity to join Leigh," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "When you are a professional player, you want to play every weekend and that's why I decide to move."
Pala scored four tries in 29 appearances for the Dragons after arriving at the club in 2011.
