Edinburgh's Perry Parker sidelined for four months with shoulder problem

Edinburgh have announced that lock Perry Parker is likely to be on the sidelines for four months due to a shoulder injury.

The 26-year-old recently underwent surgery on a problem that has marred his fitness for some time.

A statement on the club's official website said: "The time to recover and rehabilitate from the surgery is expected to be around three to four months."

Parker has been with the club since 2012.
