Super League table Bradford Bulls offer

Super League (Europe) put together a package to save Bradford Bulls from administration.

Super League (Europe) Ltd have announced a bid to save the Bradford Bulls from administration.

The Bulls were placed into administration on June 26 and two previous bids to save the club have been rejected by the Rugby Football League.

If accepted, the bid would represent a purchase of the club on behalf of the other 13 Super League clubs.

The rescue package is being headed by Super League chief executive Nigel Wood.

"This saga has gone on for far too long and we are of the view that direct positive action is required to safeguard the future of Bradford Bulls. Under the ownership of SLE, we can plot a course for Bradford Bulls which is in the best interests of the club, the competition and the wider game," said Wood

"If our offer is accepted, SLE will welcome approaches from all interested parties who have an interest in helping us secure a bright future for professional rugby league in Bradford."

Bulls administrator Brendan Guilfoyle welcomed the bid and the offer is currently under consideration.
