It was a comfortable evening for the Warriors as they beat Salford City Reds 46-6 at the DW Stadium.

The home side were dominant from the start with four early tries, but Matty Smith struggled with the kicking duties, missing all four conversion attempts.

Josh Charnley took over with the boot and added two tries, while Sam Tomkins also grabbed a brace as Wigan scored eight tries.

Adam Walne broke the whitewash in the final minute of the game to get Salford on the score board, but the Warriors remain at the top of the table.

St Helens slipped to their fifth consecutive defeat despite a strong second-half performance against Widnes Vikings.

Two tries from Jack Owens helped the visitors to a 28-12 lead at half time, before Tony Puletua, Ade Gardner and Alex Walmsley all helped the hosts back into the match in the second period.

However, a late drop goal from Danny Craven helped the Vikings hold on for the win.

A Carl Ablett brace helped Leeds Rhinos to a comfortable win over Bradford Bulls at the Odsal Stadium.

The visitors crossed the try line five times in the first half, helping Leeds to a 30-6 advantage at half time.

Elliot Kear scored twice for the home side after the break, but the Bulls could not stop Leeds from recording their eighth straight win in the Super League.

Hull FC thrashed London Broncos 48-12 at the KC Stadium, moving them up to sixth in the table.

A quiet opening 40 minutes saw the home side just edge ahead thanks to tries from Ben Crooks and Richard Whiting.

However, the visitors could not cope with their opponents' pace in the second half, allowing Hull to add six further tries, with Crooks and Tom Briscoe both securing braces.

Results in full: Bradford Bulls 22-42 Leeds Rhinos, Hull FC 48-12 London Broncos, St Helens 28-35 Widnes Vikings, Wigan Warriors 46-6 Salford City Reds
