James Donaldson signs new 12-month Bradford Bulls contract

Donaldson extends Bradford stay

Bradford Bulls have announced that back-row forward James Donaldson has signed a new contract at the club.

The 21-year-old, who moved to the Bulls from amateur rugby league in Cumbria five years ago, has put pen to paper on a 12-month deal with an option of a further year.

"It was always my first choice to stay at the Bulls," Donaldson told the club's official website. "I'm chuffed to bits to get the deal out of the way and I can now concentrate on my rugby.

"My manager had a look around to see what was on the cards but Bradford's the best place for me and once the deal from the club was on the table I didn't want to go anywhere else."

After missing the majority of 2012 with a knee injury, Donaldson has made 17 appearances this season.
