Frankel continues 100% record at Ascot

Sir Henry Cecil-trained Frankel made it 14 wins from 14 outings during the Champion Stakes at Royal Ascot this afternoon.

Under jockey Tom Queally, the 2-11 favourite got off to a slow start.

However, in the closing stages the four-year-old colt eased to the front of the field, seeing off the challenge from Cirrus des Aigles by two lengths.

Reports have claimed that today's race will be the last of Frankel's career.

It is believed that he will command £100,000 a time at stud, leading to a £100m valuation.
