Countrywide Flame came first in the JCB Triumph Hurdle in the first race of the fourth and final day at the Cheltenham Festival.
Sadler's Risk took the lead in the early stages of the race, followed by Hollow Tree, Darroun, West Brit and Urbain De Sivola.
At least ten of the racers were in contention towards the final flight, but Dodging Bullets and the bookies' favourite Grumeti emerged at the front.
Despite a positive run, Grumeti's lead didn't last long after stumbling at the last hurdle, which allowed Countrywide Flame to push to the front and clinch victory with Hisabaat second and Grumeti third.
The Triumph Hurdle winner is trained by Dougie Costello, who lost 66 races previous to today's challenge at Cheltenham.
