Jockey Hayley Turner released from hospital after fall at Doncaster

Turner recovering from fall

Jockey Hayley Turner has escaped serious injury after suffering a heavy fall in the DFS Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster yesterday.

The 30-year-old needed immediate medical treatment from Doncaster Royal Infirmary after she was thrown to the ground while riding Seal Of Approval.

"Hayley has been released from hospital. She's now at home with her mum and is just battered and bruised," At The Races quotes Turner's agent Guy Jewell as saying. "All the tests, CT scans and X-rays came back clear, it's just soft tissue damage."

Turner only recently returned from a stint on the sidelines with a broken ankle, which she suffered in July.
