Gold Cup-winning trainer Henrietta Knight retires

Gold Cup-winning trainer Henrietta Knight has announced her retirement following an expansive career in racing.

The 65-year-old has decided to call it quits following her husband, three-time champion jockey Terry Biddlecombe's stroke seven months ago.

"I feel that I can't go on training since Terry's stroke," Knight told horseandhound.com.

Knight has trained over 700 winning horses.
