Windsor Park takes the Neptune at Cheltenham Festival

Windsor Park takes the Neptune

Windsor Park under Davy Russell won the opening race of day two at the Cheltenham Festival, the Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle.

The Dermot Weld-trained horse, which went off at 9/2, came through by five lengths thanks to a fine last jump.

Tony McCoy's mount Parlour Games (13/2) recovered from a slow start to come second, while the 7/2 favourite Nichols Canyon, under Ruby Walsh, was third.

Bary Geraghty was well placed on Vyta Du Roc, but jumped poorly at the last to fall behind the frontrunners.
